“Mackenzie and Middle beaches will always be special to us, and to me as an artist. Inspired by a late spring evening on the coast with good friends. We stayed on the beach until the very last golden glow gave way to what was a perfect star-filled night sky. I enjoyed working on this piece as I challenged myself to capture the essence of the moment in contrasting darkness and brilliant colour.”
