Hornby Sunset 2015

“A heart-shaped pool created by low tide rocks just off shore was slowly revealed with the arrival of this Qualicum Bay sunset. This was the first time in years that I had took the chance to set up an easel and paint on site. I began several canvasses from this location. What I discovered about painting “live” was the sense of being a part of the landscape I was trying to capture.”
