“This second in a series of canvasses is inspired by the our trip to New York. Once more architectural in design. This night time sky attempts to capture the colour and energy of the city that never sleeps. More pure in design, “Manhattan Skyline No. 2/2” allowed me to push myself beyond traditional representational work. With this work, I have begun to work with a dark starting point and a white gouache gesture that builds my urban landscape.”
