“Just off the boardwalk at Parksville Beach the grass and the driftwood catch the light of the setting sun. First captured on a camping weekend trip and yet another amazing low tide walk, the inspiration of this piece was the magical way that the grass danced in the ocean breeze to expose a driftwood figure that was truly unique. The treatment of the sky and ocean are more subdued with a gentle dry brush technique that puts the focus on the foreground. I love coming back to this beach to visit this spot.”
