“The Pembroke Connection represents a return to this neighbourhood after almost 40 years. I lived at 1314 Pembroke Street for a brief period during the year I moved to B.C. for the first time. The house is gone now, but that year altered the trajectory of my life; that year on the coast gave me a bigger vision of life and a connection to a world beyond small town northern Saskatchewan. That connection would inspire an eventual return to the coast in 2006 where I have made my home ever since.”
