“Over twelve years ago, I began a series of surfing paintings of which two were intended to be ‘twins’. In 2015, ‘Two Boards No. 1’ was completed and was introduced to one of our earliest collectors. That ‘first’ two boards became part of a family where two young kids grew up to find the same passion for the west coast as their parents. Nine years later, the ‘twins’ were reunited when ‘Two Boards No. 2’ was finished as a commissioned piece by the same collectors. It is great to see them together again!”
