“Cohort members would recognize this piece as my final project for one of the courses in our Masters in Educational Leadership program at VIU. The back side of this canvas speaks to my thesis, Windows of Opportunity. The self-portrait humorously references Irving Stone’s, ‘agony and ecstasy’ as the ‘crazy work’ of balancing the busy and passionate life as an alternate education teacher, masters student, single dad and artist.”
