“Based on the experiences of my Canaussie 87 trip to Australia, this piece moves away from my representational landscapes to a more purely abstract expressionist take on unbelievable outback vistas. I still can’t get those images out of my memory and the colour palette is one that I love to return to on a regular basis. This piece is the first of a series which I have begun to explore.”
