“Secret Cove could be west coast or northern Saskatchewan. The movement in the trees is reminiscent of the wind in the black spruce in my home town of La Ronge. The beach is more tropical or even desert in nature …at least the colour would suggest it. The water is anything but calm and boils like the sea off Ucluelet. Inspired by a place in my mind’s eye or an actual space in time, that is the secret.”
