“Born and raised in Saskatchewan, I know about amazing sunset skies. “Qualicum Bay” was inspired by yet another beautiful day, being thankful for the opportunity to live near the ocean and a new found appreciation for the power of those amazing sunset skies. With a purposely bold palette, I wanted this work to radiate colour and light. As an artist that expressive colour is so very important to me.”
